Out of College, I was the Guidance Counselor at the Grand Canyon National Park. Then I moved to Jerome and taught school in Cottonwood. I even went back and taught at West High for a minute.
After deciding teaching wasn't my cup of tea. I decided to do what I really wanted to do. I went to work for the AZ Dept. of Corrections, working with female offenders for 3 years.
Got married and moved to MN for a 4 year commitment for my husbands job with the airlines. This turned into 20 years of MN winters. I actually loved MN. I had a beautiful daughter, Aimee. I worked in several areas of corrections. It was an incredible career. Moved back home to AZ.
