Wow, didn't know we had lost Ruven.  One of my best friends from Simpson Grade School on.  Great guy, very sad to read that he is gone.

Hi Chris.  Yes, I was fortunate to spend time with him in his last days here.  We really never lost touch with eachother after high school in a lot of ways. Cancer is a terrible thing.   He was/is missed.  His family spread his ashes at his favorite place - Christopher Creek.  His mother passed not long after he did.

The summer of our freshman year Reuben Mike Decker and I spent a week camping at Christopher Creek remember hitchhiking to the store to buy a block of ice and the 3 of us taking turns carrying that cold block of ice boy were those some goof times Ruben showed me how to toilet paper my first house
