Becky was in my grade school and high school class.  It was through her that my mother made me learn to have compassion for people who might not fare as well as oneself and I became her friend.  She had a crummy upbringing, lived poorly, and sufferred from a botched thyroid surgery.  I hung out with the athletic girls and she was the first person I saw to serve a volleyball overhead.  I will always remember how some of the other girls laughed at her for doing that but soon it became the only way to serve a volleyball.  Becky became my hero that day because she played true to herself and didn't worry about what the other girls thought.

I lost touch with her and found her many years later on Classmates.  So I visited her a couple times in Phoenix but she was sickly and passed on a few years later.

Sorry to hear that she has passed on and had ill health.  I also recall her from all the way back to grade school.

I also remember her from  Madrid. Grade school.   She was very athletic.  She had long legs.   She was always friendly to me.  Lost track of her later in high school.  ❤️
