I'm not exactly sure where or when Karie and I actually met- likely in a class. I went to 13 different schools growing up and believe I started attending West the very end of my sophomore or perhaps the beginning of my junior year...so I imagine towards junior year. I considered her a friend- we hung out a lot and she gave me quite a few rides to school! However, Karie had a very hard edge and the reason became apparent after I had been to her house a few times. Her home life was tough and sad, not just the normal teenage / parental growing pains. I sincerely hope she found peace and joy in her life.

I THOUGHT KARIE WAS ALWAYS STRICKINGLY BEAUTIFUL. SHE DATED SCOTT HILL AND, OH I WAS JEALOUS! I THINK WE WERE ALL IN HOME ROOM TOGETHER WITH THE "H'S". HA! FUN MEMORIES OF ALL BEING NICE THO.
