OH DEAR.  HOW SAD TO HEAR.   SUSIE WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST GIRLS I HAVE EVER MET.  SHE WAS THE DARLING OF THE CHEER LEADERS AND ALWAYS SPREAD LIGHT WITH HER GIGGLES.  AND A PRETTY GOOD DANCER IN OUR "PRODUCTIONS" CLASS WITH MISS PRATHER.  MAY SHE REST IN PEACE AND SPREAD HER LIGHT WHERE EVER SHE GOES!  FLY HI SUSIE. My heart aches at the sudden passing of Susie. We shared so many times and memories from our early days in Sunday school at First Presbyterian Church, to being on West's Pom line together our junior and senior years, and all the neighborhood fun in our Encanto neighborhoods. The large high school parties at the Refsnes' house in Palmcroft are unforgettable events for many T-Birds of our era. I don't know how her parents put up with all of us. She was a dear and treasured friend and will be missed by many.

How sad to learn of Susie’s passing.  I have fond memories of our grade school days at Franklin.  Very clear are images from childhood classes, Brownie meetings when her mom was our leader, our cooking club and a Halloween party when they moved to the big Palmcroft house.  Even as a child, Susie was a talented artist. Her nature always kind, her smile ever present.  Rest in peace Susie.

My heart is heavy with the news of Susie's passing.  We were dear friends in high school and continued our friendship through out the years. Five years ago, we enjoyed a wonderful adventure traveling the Bay Area where I live -- Big Sur, Carmel, Los Gatos, Sausalito and SF. It was great fun to explore with Susie!! .
I was always inspired by Susie's sense of design and fashion.  I will miss her dear heart and creative nature.
My heart goes out to Bill, the family and everyone she touched.
Love, light and blessings to you dearest Susie 💖💫💞

So sorry to hear of Susan's passing. Seeing her around campus, she allways had a smile on her face. Prayers to her family and may she fly high with our other T-Birds who left us way to soon.

I am saddened to hear of Susie's passing.  She was both fun and sweet.  She was elegant and her smile seemed to almost sparkle.  We were the "bookends" on the Pom line in senior year, since we were the shorties of the group.  Susie was talented and kind.  A good person.  She passed away too soon, but may she rest in peace.
