Richard Harris Vowles, 60, of Tallahassee, died Saturday, February 4, 2012. Richard was born in Fargo, North Dakota to Harris and Gwen Vowles. He was a member of Four Oaks Community Church in Tallahassee. Richard was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a DooDah to his grandkids, and a friend. Richard had a creative mind, a musical heart, and a generous spirit which will never be forgotten. Richard was preceded in death by his darling wife, Kay Vowles in 2009, and his parents. He leaves behind a daughter, Mesa Cole, son, Cory Vowles, and their spouses, William Cole and Marjorie Vowles, all of Tallahassee. He has 3 grandchildren that call him DooDah, Emily Cole, Aiden Cole, and Lilly Vowles. He also leaves behind 3 incredible siblings, Judy Petersen, David Vowles, and Phebe Wilson, 11 nieces and nephews, and countless friends who are considered family. He's never met a stranger.
